So it's been awhile since I last wrote in this thing.  I wonder if anyone still does the whole xanga thing.  Everything seems to be so Myspacy.  Myspace is only good for sharing comments.  The blog part is too inconvenient.  First you have to look at someone's profile, then click on their blog entries, then read them.  Ugh, what a hassle.  I like this setup.  You almost have to read the blogs.  Especially when they have juicy little tidbits imbedded deep within them that an otherwise careless and expedient reader would skip over.

I attained a new height at pole vaulting today.  I got up to 9'6".  It's not very high, but it's one step closer to my goal of 10 feet.  Once I make ten, I'll be a smidge under halfway to making the new World Record.  I figure those last 10 feet will be cake compared to the first 10.  Here's a picture of me clearing 9 feet.  My form is horrible, but at least I managed to look at the camera.

Ona these days I'm gonna get it right.

I feel like running a marathon, or climbing a cliff face, or going SCUBA diving.  I feel so locked into things right now.  I'm going to take a random trip to Montreal.  Or at least research it...  amtrak.com, here I come
